Aluminum bending

Bending is the process of shaping metallic materials into sheet forms by imposing stress above the material’s strength, but under its maximum strength. The forces applied are exerted in opposite directions, as in the case of cutting / punching sheet metal. However, the bending forces are further apart compared to the cutting / punching forces, resulting in distortion without breakage.
