Why Choose a Metal Roof?

  • Durability: Metal roofs have a lifespan of 50+ years.
  • Weather Resistance: Metal roofs can withstand fire, hail, heavy snow and strong wind.
  • Easy Maintenance: Metal roofs do not absorb water; they also make snow removal easier, offering a practical solution over the long term.
  • Low Ecological Footprint: Not only are metal roofs fully recyclable, but they also represent an ecological choice because of their long lifespan.

Metal roofs are suitable for a wide variety of projects.

Residential

Do you want to stand out? Do you want to invest in a durable roof? Metal roofing is the type of product you are looking for. With its impressive look and outstanding lifespan, you can say goodbye to asphalt shingles.

Maple Syrup Industry

Metal roofs are particularly popular with sugar shacks, since these buildings must satisfy specific requirements. Are you renovating or expanding your sugar shack? Our metal roofs have been designed to meet your needs.

Agricultural

The durability and resistance of metal roofing make it a safe and cost-effective option for
agricultural buildings. They are perfectly suitable for different types of structures, such as
barns, pigsties and storage buildings.

Commercial

Regardless of the nature of your business, Toiture MR can provide advice on metal roofing solutions, whether it is for repairs or the construction of a new building.

Our Products

At Toiture MR, we offer two main types of corrugated roofing panels: the PRO 100 and PRO 150, which are sheets that are less expensive but still of excellent quality.

The Pro 100 can be manufactured directly on site, avoiding losses and length errors, and saving time for installation. It features a 1-inch-high rib. As for the PRO 150, it has a profile with a 1½-inch-high rib, and it stands out with its hidden fastener system, giving the roof an elegant and durable look. Both are available in lengths of 16 to 20 inches, with or without grooves, and in 24 or 26 gauge on request.

Snow Guards

We strongly recommend installing snow guards on your metal roof, regardless of its pitch. Snow guards can be installed on most metal roofs, but also on asphalt shingle, wood shake and synthetic slate roofs.

Snow guards prevent massive amounts of snow and ice from suddenly falling off your roof, which is likely to happen if they accumulate on the edge of the roof. In that way, you will avoid injuring people or damaging property.

We offer two types of snow guards: fence-style snow guards and pad-style snow guards. The latter is more discreet and is made of individual cones or domes placed throughout the roof. Generally, it is more suitable for residential use. However, fence-style snow guards offer the strongest protection, thanks to its spaced bars that efficiently retain snow and ice on your roof. It is suitable for both commercial and residential metal roofs.

Our roofers can help you choose the best metal roofing options for your roof, including which snow guards are more appropriate in your circumstances. We take into consideration the roof pitch, geographic location, climate conditions, structural characteristics and load-bearing capacity of your roof, and we adapt our work accordingly.

Metal Roof Installation

We offer turnkey services for roofing repair and installation. Before we install your new roof, you have absolutely no action to take: our roofers will handle everything for you.

  1. Removing the existing roof.
  2. Preparing and repairing the roof structure to install the new metal roofing.
  3. Installing the new metal roof.
  4. Leaving with the old roofing materials and debris in a container.

As you may have guessed, we even make a point to bring a container to dispose of your old roof! Depending on the type of roofing, it is not always necessary to remove the old roofing materials. Sometimes, we can even install the new roof over the existing one using a lath system, ensuring the old roof and the new roof have proper ventilation.

We can install a metal roof in both summer and winter. Unlike other types of roofing systems, this one does not require any products that could freeze during the process. Of course, we prefer to work on your roof in good weather and at a temperature higher than -30 °C.
